Early Life
Jimin was born and raised in Geumjeong District, Busan. As a child, he was drawn to performance and dance. He trained in popping and locking at Just Dance Academy and later studied contemporary dance at the prestigious Busan High School of Arts, where he topped his class. Inspired by the performances of artist Rain, Jimin began to dream of the stage.
In 2012, he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment and became the final member added to BTS. Despite only training for six months, he debuted with the group in 2013, bringing intensity and passion to every stage.
