- Biography Submission Details: If you submit a profile for someone, we collect the information you provide — such as their name, biography details, professional background, and any photographs. Your email address is collected so we can follow up with you during the review process.
- Technical Data (Edit Suggestions Only): When you use the Suggest an Edit feature, we automatically record your IP address and approximate location (city, state, and country). To do this, we use a third-party IP lookup service, ipwho.is. This is used only to verify that the request is genuine and to prevent spam or automated abuse. This data is not used for advertising or shared with anyone outside of this purpose.
- Spam & Bot Protection: Our Submit a Biography and Suggest an Edit forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell real visitors apart from automated bots. reCAPTCHA may collect device, browser, and interaction information as governed by Google’s own privacy practices. - General Browsing Data: Like most websites, we collect basic non-personal data — such as browser type, pages viewed, access times, clicks, scroll behavior, and mouse movement — through cookies and analytics tools. When you submit an edit request through the Suggest an Edit feature, a copy of the request (the post title, post link, and your suggested changes) is automatically sent to our internal review team via Telegram, so we can review it quickly. This is used solely for internal moderation purposes and is never made public or shared outside our team.
Data Retention
Once your submission has been reviewed and processed — whether published or declined — we delete the associated personal data within approximately 60 days. We don’t hold on to information longer than necessary.
