Gracie Hunt Background

Early Life Story

Gracie Hunt was born on March 29, 1999, in Dallas, Texas. She grew up in Highland Park, one of Dallas’s most affluent neighborhoods, in a 12,300-square-foot family estate. Despite the privilege of her surroundings, her early years were shaped by real physical setbacks.

Her childhood passion was soccer. She played competitive club soccer with the goal of earning a spot on SMU’s college team. She has called it her “first love” and described how her father coached her early in the sport. But after suffering four concussions during her youth career, she was forced to stop playing contact sports entirely.

Family Background

Gracie’s family background is deeply tied to American sports history. Her grandfather, Lamar Hunt, founded the Kansas City Chiefs and was one of the founding members of the American Football League. He is also credited with coining the term “Super Bowl.”

Her father, Clark Hunt, oversees the Chiefs organization as Chairman and CEO. Her mother, Tavia Hunt, is a former beauty queen who runs the Chiefs Women’s Organization — a direct parallel to Gracie’s own pageant path and NFL work.

Her brother Knobel studies at SMU, and her younger sister Ava is active in cheerleading and high school athletics. The family is known for its close-knit dynamic and shared focus on sports, faith, and service.
