Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician, military veteran, and the eighth Director of National Intelligence (DNI) since February 2025, overseeing 18 U.S. intelligence agencies, including the CIA and FBI.
Born April 12, 1981, in Leloaloa, American Samoa, she is 44 years old (2025). A former Democrat, Gabbard served as the U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District (2013–2021), becoming the first Hindu member of Congress and one of the first female combat veterans elected.
