Moriah Plath is an American singer, TV personality, bartender, and social media influencer best known for her breakout role on TLC’s Welcome to Plathville. Often called the “rebel” of the ultra-conservative Plath family, she broke away from her strict Christian upbringing to pursue a more independent, creative life.
Born on August 28, 2002, in Virginia, she grew up homeschooled on a remote farm in Cairo, Georgia, with no access to sugar, smartphones, or pop culture. But Moriah defied expectations—embracing music, fashion, and social media. She’s released emotional singles like “Missed Myself” and “Devil in a Suit and Tie”, inspired by her personal heartbreaks and self-growth.

Early Life

Her younger brother Joshua died in a tragic accident in 2008, which deeply impacted the entire family. Moriah, however, always questioned the family’s strict rules. She started dyeing her hair, wearing bold clothes, and using social media—becoming the first of the Plath children to publicly rebel.
She grew especially close to her brother Ethan and his wife Olivia Plath, who supported her journey toward independence. Moriah eventually left home in 2021, moving to Tampa, Florida to explore life on her own.
