Lucius Hoyos was born and raised in Alliston, Ontario. His family background is mixed, including Quechua, Peruvian/Ecuadorian, French Canadian, and Irish/Scottish roots. His father, Ricardo Hoyos Sr., is from a multicultural background, and his mother, Eileen Hoyos, is of Irish and Scottish descent.
