Sanvikaa is an actress in the Bollywood film industry who played the role of Rinki in the popular Amazon Prime web series Panchayat, which has been loved by audiences. This was her first web series, and she has won hearts with her acting in all three seasons of the show. Before Panchayat, back in 2017, she had a small role as a TV journalist in the film Qaidi Band.

After Panchayat, she worked in two more web series. The first one is Plan A Plan B (2022), which you can watch on Netflix, and the second is Lakhan Leela Bhargava (2023), available on Jio Hotstar. Her roles in both these series are pretty impressive. Also, she’s soon going to star in another web series called Hajamat on an OTT platform, where she’ll be playing a lead role alongside Jameel Khan and Anshuman Pushkar.

Sanvikaa’s parents and her five sisters live in Jabalpur, and she is the youngest among them.

Sanvikaa was born on January 8, 1990, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her primary education in Jabalpur and later studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at a college there.

Struggle Days

Talking about her struggling days in Mumbai, Sanvikaa says she used to show up for auditions for any role, big or small, in films or TV series. Like many others, she waited in long audition lines.

Even though she studied engineering, she wasn’t keen on taking up a job. She always wanted to do something different. When she left home for Mumbai, she told her parents she was going to Bangalore for a job, but instead, she went to Mumbai to try her luck in acting. An old friend, who was already learning acting in Mumbai, helped her a lot during this journey.

Career

After finishing college, Sanvikaa used to go to the theater with a friend in Jabalpur, and that’s when she started thinking about a career in acting.

How She Got the Role in Panchayat

Sanvikaa shares that she had gone to Mumbai for an ad audition and was waiting for her turn. Meanwhile, another audition was happening nearby, which she didn’t know about. A man approached her and asked if she’d like to audition for a TVF show. She said yes, hoping at least to get her contact details to the casting company. She never imagined she’d be selected as the supporting actress “Rinki” in Panchayat. That’s how she landed the role, and now she’s been part of all three seasons of the series. “The entire Panchayat series was like a workshop for me. I learned so much, and it’s a feeling I can’t fully describe in words.”

Talking about the main actor of Panchayat, Jitendra Kumar (Jeetu), Sanvikaa says, “He’s a very supportive actor. During shoots, if I ever got nervous, Jeetu would calmly explain things and make me feel normal.” Prahlad Chacha from the series is one of her favorite actors.
