Claressa Shields Biography, Age, Height, Husband, Net Worth, Records & More
Claressa Shields, famously known as the GWOAT (Greatest Woman of All Time), is an American professional boxer and former MMA fighter. She’s the only boxer in history—male or female—to become the undisputed champion in three weight classes: super welterweight, middleweight, and heavyweight. A two-time Olympic gold medalist (2012, 2016), she holds a 16–0 boxing record and continues to dominate women’s boxing in 2025.
Claressa was born on March 17, 1995, in Flint, Michigan, to Clarence Shields and Marcella Adams. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, she took up boxing at age 11, inspired by Laila Ali. She trained at Berston Field House with coach Jason Crutchfield. Shields graduated from Flint Northwestern High School in 2013. She skipped college to focus on her boxing career.
In 2024, her relationship with rapper Papoose became public after a feud with Remy Ma. They plan to start a family in 2026. Shields also attempted to adopt her cousin’s daughter in 2014.
