Early Life
Evyatar David was born in Kfar Saba, Israel, and grew up in a warm and close family. From a young age, he loved music and learned to play the guitar and piano. Current Situation
On October 7, 2023, Evyatar was kidnapped by Hamas while attending the Nova music festival with friends. Two of his friends were killed, and he and Guy Gilboa-Dalal were taken hostage. Since then, he has been held in Gaza for nearly two years in underground tunnels with very little food or water.
On August 1–2, 2025, Hamas released videos showing Evyatar looking extremely thin, digging a grave, and saying, “Time is running out.” Former hostages said he survived on only a pita a day and a few spoons of cheese, with no clean water or medical help.
